The Log Handling Crane Users Group (formerly the Portal Crane Users Group) is an independant group of crane operators, and owners dedicated to supplying support and information on Log Handling Cranes.

The Crane Users Meeting has been a yearly tradition for almost 15 years, during that time there has been information shared and long term friendships made. Many people come back year after year but each year we have new faces and new ideas. The user’s only round tables have been the most successful portion of these meetings. Crane users can communicate openly on operating issues that they may be experiencing and the combination of experienced personnel with new faces and new ideas makes for innovative solutions for crane users and crane manufacturer’s alike.

The next Crane Users meeting will have a change in format, the users only round tables will remain the same however the Vendor presentations will be tied together with MOTAG (Mill Operations Technical Advancement Group www.motag.org), and will cover all aspects of woodyard equipment. The next meeting will be held Jan 31st, and Feb 1st 2006 for the users only roundtables, Vendor presentations will be Feb 2-3rd 2006.
